Established in the Philippines in July of 2005 with only 150 employees in its first delivery center in Makati City, Sutherland grew exponentially with a current headcount of 15,000 across its 8 locations: Taguig, Cubao, Carmona, Tarlac, Clark, Camsur, Legaspi, and Davao, making Sutherland the 5th largest BPO company in the Philippines according to the latest ranking released by the industry association IBPAP (IT Business Process Association of the Philippines). This dynamic growth certainly earned accolades for Sutherland. In 2010, Sutherland was recognized as the “Fastest Growing BPO Company” in the prestigious ICT Awards organized and presented by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the IBPAP or the IT Business Processing Association of the Philippines.
