As a leading player in the manufacture of aluminum rolled products for aerospace, construction, and other industries, Aleris is expected to provide high-quality products at speed and scale.

Glitches with their existing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system delayed processing and resulted in missed material delivery times. The setbacks frustrated customers and resulted in financial penalties for the company.

Aleris was looking for an integrated, real-time EDI solution to improve supply chain efficiencies and meet customer expectations.

Automating CloudOps for Tangible Results

Sutherland helped Aleris rapidly adopt and automate Oracle Middleware Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) by implementing the RingMaster CloudOps platform. Integrated DevOps practices also simplified the deployment for quicker results.

The Sutherland solution enhanced data integration and facilitated seamless end-to-end transactions with real-time EDI capabilities. The result was improved supply chain visibility and management, leading to shorter delivery times and a better customer experience.

User Management Solution

Starting by evaluating existing automation efforts, we leveraged our Sutherland RAPID model to re-evaluate our client’s use cases by replacing their existing RPA solution software with our end-to-end hyperautomation platform Robility. We used our Sutherland Robility platform to connect disparate systems across the business and deliver a more efficient workflow for our client. We created a one-window solution for all Claims First Notice of Loss (FNOL).

We utilized Robility's native OCR, RPA, workflow, AI/ML and digital command center components to increase speed-to-market and derive more value from use cases. The Robility hyperautomation platform centralized the user management solution across various applications. This allowed us to effectively manage user roles and application access management while dramatically increasing productivity and reducing overall cost of both licensing and operations.
