Sutherland deployed its Digital Supply Chain Solution, eSeal®, to bring real-time transparency and control to the client’s operations. Each product was assigned a unique digital ID, enabling full traceability from component manufacturing to the final product sale.
The platform mapped each product’s journey through the supply chain, building a complete product genealogy that made tracking, validation, and recall management far more efficient. Real-time work-in-progress (WIP) tracking enhanced production visibility, while validation scanning ensured accurate dispatches and reduced errors.
Sutherland also implemented a Distributor Management System (DMS) to monitor secondary sales, optimize inventory levels, and enhance, sales forecasting. Backward traceability was built into the system, allowing for quick and accurate validation of sales returns and warranty claims.
