Elevating Opportunity with Impact Hiring

We empower and employ talent among community members who are systemically disconnected from employers and resources that can help them navigate professional challenges. Our upskilling and mission-led hiring among 6 core target groups.

Solo Parents

Single guardians with at least one child under the age of 17 living at home.

Individuals with Disabilities

Persons with physical or developmental disabilities.

Displaced People

Refugees, deportees or locally displaced people.

Military Veterans

Those who’ve found sustainable employment difficult since military service.

Underprivileged Youth

Employee Volunteerism

Together, we can make a difference.

Our employees’ actions have a positive effect on the wellbeing of the communities where we operate.

We focus on mobilizing employees to join us in our mission – encouraging individuals and teams to actively participate in volunteer opportunities created through the Corporate Citizens program and partner organizations.

School Interventions

We expose youth to education, technology and career guidance through motivational and empowerment sessions arranged between high school seniors and Sutherland employees.

Digital Mentorship

Our employees engage one-on-one as digital technology mentors with individuals in our target populations. The goal is to team-up to learn and practice soft skills for virtual or face-to-face interviews, increasing success with job placement and employment.

Cultural Sensitization

Jointly developed programs provide our employees innovative opportunities to engage with marginalized communities to learn, teach, share and empower cultural sensitivity, understanding and empathy toward vulnerable communities in the workforce.
