Vik Renjen

Senior Vice President, Insurance, Banking, and Financial Services

Vik Renjen has been Senior Vice President and Global Head of Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) of Sutherland Global Services, Inc. since July 16, 2007. Mr. Renjen joined Sutherland from AIG where he was a Senior Executive responsible for formulating and executing the global sourcing strategy. Mr. Renjen's prior positions include eight years at Prudential, starting in Healthcare and Relocation then moving to the Mortgage Capital entity where he was Senior Vice President of Global Operations. He also served as a Vice President for Chase Manhattan Bank for seven years in various operations and systems roles with incremental responsibility. Mr. Renjen earned an MBA from American University in Washington DC, and holds a BA in Economics from Delhi University, New Delhi. He is based in the New York City area.

Barbara Barnes

Vice President, Insurance

Barbara joined Sutherland in 2004 to provide strategic leadership for the development of Sutherland’s insurance practice. She oversees the multi-national insurance clients globally including client services, solutions architecture, and operational delivery support. Barbara provides strategic direction to business development for new client opportunities across the life, health, property, and casualty industries, and ensures impactful solutions supporting client’s strategic initiatives and business objectives. Under Barbara’s leadership, her multinational teams rank in the top 1% for superior customer service in the insurance industry. She has held strategic leadership roles in marketing, sales, customer service, and customer retention for several insurance companies including Occidental Life, National Liberty, Colonial Penn, and CIGNA. Barbara also headed the consumer sales and service organization for the ACE Group of Companies spanning North America and South America which was ranked in the top 1% for customer satisfaction by customer relationship metrics and Call Center Depot.

Sharon James Jordan

Vice President, Insurance Service Delivery

Sharon joined Sutherland in 2015 and oversees the service delivery organization to ensure delivery success and growth within Sutherland’s insurance vertical. She is responsible for the global operational management of key insurance clients, service delivery initiatives related to strategic business development, organizational excellence, and innovation. Before joining Sutherland, Sharon spent more than 25 years in various insurance leadership roles with insurance carrier AIG and its member companies. She most recently served seven years as senior vice president of operations & systems for AIG Aerospace Insurance Services. Sharon has also held the positions of vice president of underwriting & claims operations and assistant vice president of domestic claims operations, eastern zone. Additionally, her experience includes executive level operational roles in AIG WorldSource and AIG Environmental, as well as being an active member of a strategy and management solutions Six Sigma task force.

Steve Clements

Associate Vice President, Insurance Service Delivery

Steve joined Sutherland in April 2004 as a seasoned operations leader with proven contact center experience in insurance, healthcare, and financial services, in the role of site director for Sutherland’s US center of excellence for insurance and healthcare. Steve’s prior experience includes leadership roles with The American Funds Group, Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, CIGNA, and ACE Group of Companies. He has held management positions in training, quality assurance, sales, customer service, and claims.

Jeff Dillon

Vice President and Global Head of Service Delivery

Jeff joined Sutherland in 2015 to provide leadership, consulting, operational analysis, and marketing support to the insurance vertical. He leads the design and development of Sutherland’s insurance vertical strategies, and facilitates solution design by providing expertise in support of sales and customer acquisition efforts. He serves as the client services director for a global carrier who provides specialty property/casualty insurance and reinsurance products in the US and Europe. Jeff also authors thought leadership documents on current insurance industry topics. Previously, Jeff spent more than eight years consulting for Accenture and PricewaterhouseCoopers as well as more than 20 years working in the insurance industry including a role with Progressive Insurance. Given his first-hand knowledge of the industry, he understands its challenges and how they can be overcome. As a strategic business partner, Jeff has been providing strategy transformation and change management transformation across claims, underwriting, and other various operations capabilities for top global, US, and regional P&C insurance clients.
