Our client is a global leader in the production and supply of oil and gas and plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy.
The customer faced the challenge of mapping all business processes to a new digital entity while ensuring process standardization across the organization. This required process synergy and strict adherence to corporate policies. The customer was looking for a single, unfragmented ERP Cloud solution that would provide comprehensive visibility into operations. The goals were to achieve process harmonization across business units, reduce operational costs, simplify the enablement of corporate IT and governance, and improve reporting capabilities.
The Solution
The solution involved implementing Oracle SaaS with a comprehensive suite of modules, including cloud financials, human capital management, procurement, enterprise performance management, and projects portfolio management.
We started with discovery workshops, followed by an AS-IS study and the development of a future business process model. This was followed by system configuration and conducting of conference room pilots (CRP) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system readiness. We performed a thorough gap analysis, developed custom reports to meet specific business needs, and completed integrations with third-party systems.
This culminated in a successful activation and an extended hyper-care period to support the transition and ensure smooth operations.
The Outcome
Sutherland successfully completed the activation of key modules in phase 1 for cloud financials, human capital management, procurement, and enterprise performance management within the client’s on-target timelines and budget.
