From there, we built a business case for total cost of ownership as well as an investment case for key capabilities including talent and platforms, and designed data domains and the data roadmap to kick off critical initiatives. A ‘control tower’ was implemented to report key metrics and demonstrate value and near-term wins. 

Next, we identified valuable analytics use cases and quantified value for each business unit, giving expert guidance on the long-term data journey and important considerations such as key hires and organizational changes. 

With a clear roadmap to achieve the client’s goal, and a holistic strategy involving all business units and geographies, a new operating model was implemented in just four months. The rapid transformation resulted in exceptional ROI in the same year, enabling our client to retain its position as a leading retail and business bank in the region.
